Bottled Water and Mercedes

Well I obviously took the new position. They were NOT happy at my medical billing job, which I totally understand. They JUST promoted me and now Im jumping ship. But it wasnt personal, I am switching careers for my future. It wouldve been goofy to say NO to a job that was practically handed to me. So I started my new career as an IT Help Desk Technician for a high end car dealership...Actually for the company that owned 3 dealerships and I learned a lot.
It wasnt always rosy. The IT world is kinda a mans world, and I was in the car business...thus more men. And my whole career experience had been in places where women made up the majority. It was lonely at first. I was used to having lots of friends at work. Plus the IT guy at work is usually not the most popular and Im a girl and have a lot to prove. The CEO didnt have a lot of confidence in me and didnt hide it. The owner was completely Misogynistic and had me get him bottled waters when the exec admin was on vacation. That is EXACTLY the reason why I got a degree and added another 30 grand to my school loans...So I can get WATER!!! I was also told that people told my boss he hired me because he thought I was cute...BLACH! Ah well.
Then the economic crisis hit and people stopped buying cars...especially luxury cars. I woke up in the middle of the night on a Wednesday in February 09 and sat up.
My husband asked me what was wrong and I just said...I think they are going to fire me...A week later they did!
Well, I was laid off. So Now...The Lord provided for me and blessed me so far...He helped me do well in training, he provided me a job with no effort on my end what so ever, So I knew I could trust Him to continue to provide for me.
